Bill grew up in a home that did not encourage art making. Years later, with the strong support of his wife Susan, Bill picked up a brush and rekindled his love for painting. Recommended to VSA by the prestigious Browns Art Gallery (thank you, Joel!), Bill is a valued member of The Community Art Group. “The first time I came here, I felt like this was more of a family than just an art class,” says Bill.

And speaking of firsts, Bill won first place in his first-time entry in The Goodwill Art Competition! Tom says, “Bill’s sense of color and fearless bold strokes get superior results. His passion for art and eagerness to learn make him a joy to teach.”
