VSA Mississippi’s mission is to create a society where people with disabilities can learn through, participate in, and enjoy the arts.
VSA arts of Mississippi (VSA MS) is a statewide 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 1978 and dedicated to promoting and providing arts opportunities for people with disabilities. More than 10,000 people are involved in VSA MS arts education, community arts, and professional development programs each year.
VSA MS is an affiliate of VSA arts, an international nonprofit organization founded in 1974 by Ambassador Jean Kennedy Smith to promote education and lifelong learning opportunities in the arts for people with disabilities. VSA arts is an affiliate of The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
